Each Maison Scott piece is custom-made for your order and goes through several steps before it can reach you.

1. 
   Analysis of your pet
   We study the photos provided to identify its characteristic features, colors, fur, expression, and particularities.
2. 
   Creation Design
   The portrait and personalized elements are adapted to the ceramic model and integrated into the graphic universe of the chosen collection.
3. 
   Hand Modeling
   The ceramic piece is individually handcrafted.
4. 
   Natural Drying
   The ceramic dries gradually to naturally release its moisture before the first firing.
5. 
   First Firing (Bisque Firing)
   A first firing solidifies the piece and prepares its surface for decoration.
6. 
   Hand Painting
   Your pet's portrait and the various decorative elements are hand-painted according to the collection's design.
7. 
   Glazing
   A layer of enamel is applied to protect the decoration and give the ceramic its final finish.
8. 
   Final Firing (Glaze Firing)
   The piece is fired again at high temperature to permanently set the enamel and colors.
9. 
   Finishing & Quality Control
   Each creation is individually checked: shape, decoration, personalization, and general quality are controlled before shipping.
10. 
    Secure Packaging
    The finished piece is carefully protected and packaged to minimize the risk of damage during transport.

From the photo of your pet to the finished piece, each creation is individually made and is not the result of industrial mass production.

• Each Maison Scott creation is made specifically for your order, then hand-molded and hand-painted, piece by piece.
• The production involves several stages: personalization preparation, ceramic molding, hand-painting, glazing, and high-temperature firing.
• Due to this artisanal process, the estimated total lead time between order and receipt is generally around 4 to 5 weeks. This timeframe is indicative and may vary slightly depending on the complexity of the creation, the firing process, and the destination.
• Slight differences in shape, dimensions, color, or brushstrokes may naturally appear from one piece to another. They are part of the unique character of an entirely handmade object.

• We offer international shipping.
• Once your creation is complete, carefully inspected, and packaged, it is entrusted to our carrier. Tracking information will be provided to you after shipment.
• Shipping times may vary depending on the destination, customs checks, the carrier, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• As ceramics are fragile, each order is carefully packaged to protect it during transport.

Your portrait is created from the photos you provide. The Maison Scott artist reinterprets your pet by hand, retaining its most recognizable characteristics: face shape, fur colors, specific markings, and overall expression.

Our style is intentionally illustrated, artistic, and not photorealistic. The final result is therefore not an exact reproduction of the photograph: certain shapes, proportions, colors, or details may be simplified or slightly interpreted according to the composition and the artist's touch.

Before confirming your order, please carefully check:

• the selected shape and model;
• the number of pets;
• personalized names and texts;
• uploaded photos;
• the different options chosen;
• your delivery address.

For photos, prefer images that are clear, bright, and without elements obscuring your pet's face, to allow us to correctly identify its main characteristics.

If you choose the Product Preview option, a photo of your finished creation can be sent to you before shipping. This preview occurs after the product is finalized and does not allow for requesting a modification or a new production.

• As each Maison Scott creation is customized and made to order, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for a simple change of mind or an error in the information provided when ordering, when the product has been made according to the elements transmitted and validated.
• This particularly concerns errors related to photos, names, personalized texts, models, colors, selected options, or other information communicated at the time of the order.
• Once the customization is confirmed and manufacturing has begun, the order cannot be modified or canceled.
• This rule does not affect your rights if a product arrives damaged, defective, or not in conformity with the order.

If your creation arrives damaged, defective, or not conforming to your order, contact us within 24 hours of receipt.

Please send us:

• your order number;
• clear photos of the product;
• photos clearly showing the damage or problem found;
• if necessary, photos of the packaging used for delivery.

After verification, if the problem is confirmed and falls under our responsibility or that of the transporter, we will arrange for a new piece adapted to your situation to be manufactured free of charge.

We recommend that you keep the product and its packaging until your request has been processed.
